Maginot System
Maginot: A red dwarf star approximately eight billion years old.
Maginot I: A cold world about half the size of Earth. It has a breathable atmosphere, but is only marginally habitable by Terran standards. The lifeforms native to the planet are hardy. They have carapaces that reflect radiation from the occasional flare, and can withstand temperatures far lower than Terraforms. Being so close to the Kilrathi border, there is no civilian presence on or around the planet. The planet is 0.1 AU from its star.
Maginot II: An arid world, with a few lakes and seas of liquid ammonia. The planet is slightly larger than Earth and is home to microbial life. The planet is 0.25 AU from its star.
Maginot III: A lifeless world with little atmosphere. What atmosphere it does have has high traces of chlorine in it. Maginot III is home to a Confed fighter garrison.
Maginot IV: A gas giant the size of Saturn, Maginot IV is home to Maginot Station, as well as three fighter garrisons situated on the planet’s three moons. Two fortresses orbit near the jump point that leads further into Kilrathi space.
Maginot V: By normal standards, it would be considered an asteroid. However, with no other large objects in the same orbit, it has been classified as a planet. It is home to extensive fortifications on the surface, used to defend the system from possible Kilrathi invasion from the orbiting jump point.
Maginot VI: It is a strange world, with an ocean of liquid nitrogen. With another jump point orbiting it that leads into Kilrathi space, Confed established a fortress in orbit of the planet, with its guns and missiles pointed at the jump point.

Draga System
Draga: An O type star of some 40 solar masses.
Draga I: A molten world twice the size of Earth. Residual hydrogen leads astronomers to believe it was once a gas planet.
Draga II: Another molten world, three times the size of Earth.
Draga III: A mineral rich, dead world, twice the size of Earth. Its atmosphere has long since been blown away. The Trk’Pahn Pride has a presence on the world, which they mine. The planet has a fighter garrison based on a nearby asteroid, as well as formidable orbital defenses. A small fortress guards the jump point to Trk’Pahn.

To K’th H’ran: Orbits Draga at a distance of 40 AU
