McAuliffe System
McAuliffe: A bright F-type star of about 1.6 Solar Masses.
McAuliffe I: A barren, airless world orbiting only 0.2 AU from the star. It is tidally locked.
McAuliffe II: A five mass planet choking on a CO2 atmosphere. A “super Venus” at 0.6 AU.
McAuliffe III: A desert world, much like Mars only ten times larger (more massive) and sporting an atmosphere ten times as thick. The planet is rich in metals, and is home to mining colonies. Orbits at a distance of 1.1 AU.
McAuliffe IV: A second desert world at 1.6 AU. Not as rich as III.
McAuliffe V: An ocean world four times the size of Earth. There is no dry ground on the planet. It orbits at 2.3 AU, and is home to aquatic life.
McAuliffe VI: A habitable world home to millions of Terrans. Orbiting it is Alexandria Station, the Vega Sector fleet base before the war. From 2634 to 2647, it suffered under Kilrathi occupation. The planet orbits at 3.1 AU. High concentrations of greenhouse gases keep the planet warm.
McAuliffe VII: A gas giant three times the size of Jupiter, and home to fifty moons and moonlets. The planet is 9.1 AU out.
McAuliffe VIII: Another gas giant, half the size of Jupiter (still larger than Saturn). Though it is further from McAuliffe VI, at an orbital distance of 20.1 AU, its lower gravity well makes it the fusion fuel depot of the system. Three large moons orbit it, the inner most being home to former Terran, later Kilrathi bases.
McAuliffe IX: The most distant planet at 47.3 AU, this icy giant has an eccentric orbit that takes it well above the star’s orbital plane.

Delius System
Delius: An A-type Star, bright white, puts out far more UV than Sol. The star is younger than Sol (Obviously), and is nearly one billion years old. It still has much debris left over from its and its system’s formataion. The star is only three solar masses, and still has at least a hundred million years to go before leaving its main sequence. The star is on the outskirt of what is believed to be the Caliban Nebula (which would take up half the sky from this distance).
Inner Asteroid Belt: It is a belt that spans from 0.5 to 0.7 AU. Many asteroids from here will eventually collide with Delius I.
Delius I: A rocky and airless planet only 0.4 AU from Delius, with surface temp of well over 1,000 degrees. It is rich in metals, and had a small mining operation on it before the war. The Kilrathi have showed little interest in the mines. The planet is twice as massive as Mars.
Delius II: Is a planet with half the mass of Venus, and a tenuous atmosphere of hydrogen, helium and sodium. The planet is home to a small Kilrathi outpost, with a Sartha squadron that patrols the nearby jump point. The planet is 1.1 AU from Delius.
Delius III: Is twice the size of Earth and 2.5 AU out from its primary. It is rocky, has a two thousand kilometer wide band of rings orbiting it near its roche limit, and has a thin nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere. Before the war, it was home to settlers living outside of the Confederation’s formal borders. Pre-war population was believed to be close to a million. The Kilrathi have occupied the planet, and have a garrison large enough to hold down the population. As of yet, they are not doing anything with the planet– though the Terrans are being used as force labor in the outer system. The Kilrathi have built three orbital fortresses beyond the rings. A fighter garrison with sixteen Dralthi is built into a Delius III crossing asteroid, which has a similar orbital period.
Secondary Asteroid Belt: Another band of asteroids between 3.0 and 4.5 AU out.
Delius IV: Delius IV is 6.4 AU out from the primary, and is a carbon planet. Instead of rocks being made from silicates, it is made from carbonates. The planet is covered in a thick CO2 atmosphere, with other carbon compounds within it. It has lakes and rivers flowing with benzine-like hydrocarbons. No life exists here, and the Kilrathi have taken no interest in the planet, though a number of sensor platforms are parked in high orbit of it, to keep an eye on the jump point that is in high polar orbit.
Delius V: This Saturn-sized planet, minus the rings, orbits at 9.9 AU out. It has a dozen moons and is the center of Kilrathi activity in the system. The Starbase orbiting the planet controls all traffic in the system, as well as serves as a fuel depot. Many smaller ships constantly scoop out hydrogen from Delius V to store in the starbase’s tanks. The base has been dubbed Delius Station by Confed. The largest moon is home to a Kilrathi division, as well as a whole wing of fighters. Delius Station is home to four wings of fighters, as well as six corvettes. Aside from the Station, seven other fortresses orbit the planet.
Delius VI: This Neptune-sized icy giant is largely forgotten at 17.3 AU. It has no Kilrathi facilities, except for an observation, and traffic-control post one a small moonlet. The jump point to the Venice System orbits Delius VI.

Munro System
Munro System
Munro: A five billion year old G2 star. It is the same spectral class as Sol, but is several hundred million years older. With a mass of 0.989 Solar Masses, Munro has provided insight to the future of the Sol System as Sol will age and brighten to the level of Munro in about 400 million years.
Munro I: A barren, airless world half the size of Earth. Being only 0.3 AU out, its surface is scorched by radiation. The bright sun also provides power for the Kilrathi system HQ, as well as bases on the surface of the planet, and port facilities in orbit of Munro I and stellar orbit. The planet and surrounding stations are manned by more than half-a-million Kilrathi.
Munro II: Another dead world. Perhaps at one time, more than two billion years ago, it had oceans. However, at a distance of 0.7 AU, the aging sun vaporized the ocean and extinguished any life that might have lived upon it. Munro II serves as a forward line for the Kilrathi. Several fortresses orbit the planet, as well as the Munro-Munro II lagrange points. It is twice the size of Earth.
Munro III: A habitable world 1.3 times the size of Earth and at a distance of 1.2 AU, it is home to more than fifty million Terrans. At first, the planet was just home to stellar observatories, but tales of fertile land brought in settlers by the hundreds of thousands during the 26th Century. All of these settlers believed the jump point in close orbit of the sun exited into interstellar space. After the Kilrathi figured out the very jump point lead to the Kilrah System, they easily conquered the planet.
Munro IV: A frozen world 2.4 AU out, Munro IV is destined to thaw as Munro continues to brighten. The planet is 0.7 times the size of Earth, and has a structure closer to Ganymede than to Mars. Following Custer’s Carnival, Munro IV was captured by Confed and turned into a heavily fortified frontline for the system. Three fortresses orbit the planet, allowing easy access to Munro III for Confed raids.
Munro V: A gas giant twice the size of Neptune, V orbits at a distance of 7 AU from its star. Confed set up several fortresses in orbit of the planet, as well as mining operations for refueling ships in the system. Confed controls both gas giants, forcing the Kilrathi to bring in fuel from another system.
Munro VI: A gas giant half the size of Jupiter, Munro VI serves as Confed’s system HQ. HQ is located on a moon that orbits at about one million kilometers. The moon is as large as Io, though nowhere near as active. The planet is the furthest out in the system, at 12 AU. Munro Station as well as numerous fortresses orbit the planet.
Jump Points
To Kilrah: Orbits inside of I’s orbit. The other side of the jump point exits into the Kilrah system at a distance of 200 AU from the red dwarf Kilrah orbits. Initial Confed scans of the jump point indicated it exited into interstellar space. As such, it was ignored. The Kilrathi did not learn about it, until years after the war started when they compared captured sensor data to their own start charts, discovering the jump point. Since it leads directly to their system, the Kilrathi have invested heavily in holding this jump point.
To Proxima:This jump point orbits Munro VI in a highly irregular and distant orbit. It leads to Proxima, which has a jump point leading directly to Sol. As such, Confed has invested heavily in holding this jump point after the Kilrathi invaded the system.
